This was Maddie’s third session and it is so nice to see her grow and move onto the next milestone in her life. She was now crawling (while sporting the cutest hat!) and much more active. We spent some time at the park with her mom and dad. She was so cute in her Halloween outfit that mom brought it over for a few photos. Such a great way to keep those memories forever… And we all loved playing with bubbles too!

Photographing the first year in a child’s life is so fun and rewarding and such an invaluable keeper of those memories for parents. Kids grow too fast!

So here I am again, continuing my post frenzy… catching up with my poor neglected blog! And what a treat to show you this handsome little man. I photographed Jackson back in September and I have to say it was love at first sight. Not only he is adorable, but his parents and grandma were absolutely a pleasure to work with and I immediately felt a great connection with them and a total ease.

I love babies, kids and family sessions. They are always fun and keep me on my toes! This was the first session of a set of 4 from my Footprints Package.

Spencer was 4 month sold and Spencer 3 when we did this in the Summer. The new session is coming up in just a few days and I know it will be lots of fun again… especially with babies, it gets more and more fun as they grow up. Then they start walking fast and I need my running shoes, but that is a different story.

This was Madeleine’s second session of the year. Se is not a newborn anymore. Now she is more interactive and alert and loves to play with mom and dad. Although it was a beautiful summer day under the shade at the park, Maddie could only take so long though and needed a little cat-nap to recover from the arduous task of being cute for the camera!

It was about time for Clara to have a new session… she was a tiny baby the last time we photographer her and we had to document the new stage in her first year. When I photographed Bailey as a newborn, less than three years ago, the family was moving up to Wisconsin. Dad had found a fabulous new job and it was time to leave the south.

I was so excited when I heard back from them earlier this year letting me know they had a new little family member, Harrison that they would like for me to photograph when they visited Georgia in the Spring.

I really enjoyed seeing everyone, meeting Harrison and seeing what a cute little girl Bailey has grown into.

A few years ago, Rich and I photographed Taunya & Barry’s wedding…. and now a new time in their lives has begun, and I feel so blessed to be able to capture these new memories for them.

One of the things I absolutely love about my job is seeing the babies I photograph when they are newborns grow into beautiful little kids and then welcome their new little brother and sisters int their homes. I truly enjoy the long term relationships I form with the families whose memories I capture, and I appreciate from the bottom of my heart their continued trust and the value they put int the images we make together.

These are Taylor, who is now a big sister, and her little brother Cameron. This was Cameron’s third photo session. Now he is starting to be more independent, and move around more… and Taylor, not too interested in playing with her little brother a lot, show ff her outgoing personality. These are two adorable kids, check that our for yourself.
